It is closely related to the marshmallow, but somewhat weaker in its effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Active ingredients of Malva Sylvestris Extract<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malvin, aesculetinm, malvalic acid, plant mucilages, which on hydrolysis yield glucose, arabinose, galactose and rhamnose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Effect of Malva Sylvestris Extract<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mallow flowers are used in gargles and baths as an expectorant. Malva sylvestris extracts are recommended for painful wounds.
